Are old Shimano baitcasters any good? : r/Fishing_Gear

Two speeds on the standard small spool: 6.3:1 for picking up line and working irons, 3.8:1 for when a fish settles in. The SX two-speed is the small reel for mixed days — flyline a sardine, drop a jig, and have a low gear left for whatever eats it. 400 yards of 50 lb braid

Bottoms

Shakespeare Seat Box with Strap (Colour):Blue

I had no issues fighting fish with this reel
