1930s English Huber Thomas French Bulldog Update A set of four CaliforniaCreated by the celebrated British animal artist Herbert Thomas Dicksee whose sensitive portrayals of dogs remain among the finest of their era, this work depicts his own beloved brindle French Bulldog, traditionally known as "Shaver." Fine printmaking linework is enhanced with carefully hand applied color to the eyes and collar, drawing subtle attention to the dog's alert expression.
