On each cuff is a 16 cm long slit with a pair of 30 cm long bootstraps
which takes the form of a pair of stylized wings inset on each side with a central gilded sunwheel-style mobile swastika
the reverse presents a horizontal pinback
Germany, SS. An Estonian Legion Volunteer’s Sleeve Insignia, Third Pattern Hold A letter and envelope sent(rmelschild der Estnischen Freiwilligen der Waffen SS). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bears a machine embroidered blue, black, and white Estonian national tri colour, unmarked, measuring 52 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in unissued and in near mint condition.
