Japan, Empire. An Order Of The Rising Sun, V Class Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic with a central silvered disc( Kyokujitsu sh). Institution Date: April 10, 1875. Multi piece construction in silver gilt with enamels and a red glass centerpiece, with paulownia flower suspension with Japanese characters on the reverse, measuring at 46mm (w) x 40. 0mm (h) and weighing at 36. 2 grams, on a vertical pinback, with crazing and chips to enamels, period ribbon with rosette, better than very fine condition.
